Roderick Place - Thompson's Station, TN
Centered around the Civil War era Federal style Roderick House, Roderick Place responds to the importance of this historic land and historic home and enhances the story of this special place. This high quality mixed-use community is home to several distinct planned districts with a traditional Tennessee Federal house at its heart.
While I did play a role in the planning and design of this community, my involvement was primarily focused on graphics, CAD layout, illustrative master plan, and envisioning book layout and content.
Franklin Greenway and Open Space Master Plan - Franklin, Tn
In keeping with their goal to become one of the top 25 sustainable cities in the country, the City of Franklin, Tennessee identified the need to expand the Land Use Plan’s guiding principles relating to environmental sustainability by recognizing the need to utilize and expand their existing open space, greenways, trails and public right-of-ways within their Urban Growth Boundary.
Involvement: Project Identification, Conceptual Trail Layout, Public Meetings, Graphics --> Final Report
Interiorly lit and ranging in height from 12' to 20'+ tall, the trees are constructed of corten steel and 3-Form acrylic. While shown in a 'grove', I also see these as pedestrian lights, path lights, or as focal points in a wooded setting.
